Block-prints on fabric by Turkey’s celebrated artist Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu’s Studio.
This print is called Hamamın Üçtür Kurnası (‘Three Basins of the Hammam’)
Though the artist passed away in 1975, his son Mehmet Hamdi has been an apprentice by his side since the 50s, and keeps his legacy alive by hand-carving his motifs into wood, printing them on fabric then colouring them with the paint he mixes himself.
Today, his studio continues to print these works, maintained by the artist’s family and apprentices.
